This thing is the most visually amazing effects to be released this year - IMHO!

I ordered it from Richard and it came within 4 days!

The dvd quality is great and the Gimmick takes about 5 mins to make, nice and simple!

You get

DVD
CHAIN
other thing you need to make up the gimmick!

Effect is, selected card mixed into the deck and then it appears on the chain, i mean in the mirror it fools the hell out of me!!

and wait for it - The chain can be removed and given away as a gift!

lovely, deliciou,s visually amazing magic for about £20

Props to Richard for putting this together and his handling but real props to Mr Owen who created this effect!

Regards

Ash

Is this suitable for table hopping (instant reset) or do you have to hide away for a few seconds to reset?

Also does what you wear matter, can it be done in a dinner suit as well as jeans and t shirt?

Is this just a re-working of Chastain Criswell's tag effect but with a chain instead of a luggage label?

If it is then I'd say go out and buy the original - it's great!

If it is, then it's disapointing that Sanders has released another updated copy of someone elses effect instead of coming up with something more original.

It if't not - then please tell more

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Just for the record it's available at http://www.magicmagic.co.uk/store/index ... ductId=479 for £19.99

I was also wondering if this was a re-work of Tag by Chastain Criswell, but in that one, a hole punch is openly used to punch a hole in one of the cards ...... in this one - a hole punch isn't seen at all ...... hmm .....

I now know the workings on this effect alough i have not try'd it yet, the method is very different from the other tagged effect.

I have had a couple of very credible magicians who said they have tried this in the real world and had amazing reactions, although said they wouldn't use it all the time.

A good idea that looks very visual.

Also interested if it can be signed.

other thin I would like to know is, chain + card has been examined, is it safe to tear the card off the chain and leave the spectator with just the card?

The card cannot be signed, but i ithink i read an article on this by mr sanders himself and people had written a reply saying that this was not an issue as the card has no heat on it as it is so visual.

Though myself i think if this was asighned card it would be amazing.

Im sure someone can come up with a way of making this possibe?

I got mine today and I think this will be a keeper.

It's a shame it's not instant reset for table hopping, you will have to go out of the room or sight but the reset is quick.

The only problem I have is that I can see the card being ripped off during the night so you will have to carry spares just in case!

Otherwise its very good maybe the sort of trick you do on a top table as an extra something special if you don't want to hide away after each table?

I am out for real on Thursday so will report back on the reactions.
