I Can Perfect Table Faro...

Postby Lenoir » Nov 15th, '08, 10:26

Yes, I have officially mastered the table faro.
And not that hideous looking one from The Trilogy. The proper Faro that genuinely looks like a riffle shuffle.

Go me.

I can and have done perfect normal faro's one after the other for a while. I can do a perfect table faro about 80% of the time!

I can consistently cut to 25,26,27 and then adjust by one if needs be.

I don't crimp or bend them in anyway other than the natural curve of the deck after a few hours use.

Where did you learn to do that? I remember seeing Marlo perform 8 perfect table faros in a row, the showoff.

I learnt it from the Martin Nash tape, "Infinity and beyond". He doesn't go into tonnes of detail, but it's enough to get the basics down. From there, it's just getting a feel for the shuffle.

I've done three perfect in a row, but I doubt I'll go any further!
