Hi My name is Alex, My grandad used to do magic for me whan I was a kid. When he passed away a year ago I thought Id carry it on. I want to learn as much as I can about magic, perticularly Cards and mentalism.

If you click on profile at the top of your screen and then at the bottom of the screen there's a bit of putting a picture up. But yes it is quite fussy about the size it'll let you use.

I found the best way was to open it in Paint, then click on Image, then Attributes, then change the pixel size to something the Forum is happy with. Any questions PM me, and welcome to TM.

And i apologise to Lady Of Mystery for stepping on her toes.

Blimey your right that does sound very fussy. I'll give it a go later when my slightly more nerdy brother comes to visit!

Welcome to TM, Alex!

I second the recommendation on the Mark Wilson book above. Quite a bit of material there on cards and "mental magic" - not sure if it's mentalism, although I'll leave that debate for another thread. ;)

Welcome Alex.
