I just got Millionaire from Peter Eggink, now the gimmick that came with the cd is really poorly cut, the edges are just too uneven so I´ll have to make another one.

here´s the thing; I think the elastic band that came with the gimmick is way to visible, and its white too, has anyone done the gimmick with a different elastic band than the one that came with the package? maybe even Invisible Elastic Thread?

Why not just send it back, or at least contact the suppliers, and point out the disappointing quality? They may be able to offer you something better to repalce it.

I thought of doing that, I got it from freepostmagic.co.uk I´m pretty sure they would send me another one from the shelf, or they could reffer my complain directly to Peter Eggink.
But that would take at least a week or more, then if the new gimmick isn´t my expectations i´ll just have to do one on my own anyway.
It allready took 14 days to arrive in the first place, and I ain´t what you could call "Patient"

It could be a bad batch so the suppliers need to be told. If they're really concerned, they'll use First Class Post to send a replacement but they could at least advise where you can get the necessaries to make your own version.

guess you´re right, I´ll send it back, but in the meantime i want to perform this as soon as possible, and the elastic band in the gimmick isn´t going to last forever so I will have to do one anyway at some point.
Besides the fact that even if they send me a perfectly cut gimmick I still would want to replace the elastic bands since they are as i said, way too visible for me.

It´ll be funny though when I´m at the copyshop copying 50 and 20 euro bills hehe
