Hi, I want to buy a PK ring for my boyfriend, but he has said he wants one in polished silver, or white gold.

Also, i would very much like to have a little message engraved on the inside, but I don't want to damage the ring.

Please can you let me know if there is anyway that I can do this?

Those rings are available in silver or gold colour only and I'm quite sure it's not possible to engrave them as the material is more akin to a ceramic than a metal. I would love to have one made for him, but not being magically minded myself, I've no idea what sort of thing I would ask for at a jewellers??? I mean, i may get a few strange looks if i ask for a magic ring! lol.

Very few, if any, jewellers will know what a PK ring is - best stick to magic supply shops who will know exactly what you mean. They may not be quite as refined as 'proper' gold or silver rings but they're extremely useful magic utility items.
