Hi Im John,
Im not brilliant at introductions but oh well. I've been into performing all my life, I enjoy acting, and more recently (The past 3-4 years) I have got into magic. I love watching magic performed, it fills me with excitement to see an illusion pulled off, and I love performing. My main forte at the moment is card magic, but I realize that this can be very repetitive, and so was wondering what other magic is easy to carry around, and where there are good tutorials. I am also not into gimmicks, as I feel that they take away from the art of magic.

Other portable pieces that you may wish to cosider are coins, sponge balls, elastic bands and perhaps some rope.
