Get a waistcoat or vest that YOU like and which matches your other clothes.

Then - find a good tailor and take it there to have it altered to your specific needs.

I very much doubt that you will find one 'off the shelf' so to speak. No one else has any need for extra pockets other than us

A tailor may be able to make one for you. A tailor is probably best as they will be able to sew to your specifications. While buying a pre-made vest may not do what you need it to.

Buy a vest, get pockets made to your specifications.

Strange to see this post, I was talking to the assistant in Johnson's Dry Cleaner's today, they do tailoring alterations and are always interested in any 'unusual' requests such as altering ordinary clothes for magical purposes. They can be a bit pricey for even basic work but probably still cheaper than getting one made from scratch. I got the impression that if the requirements are outside the standard range then the tailor might be happy to do the work 'on the side' so to speak  !

I recommend that you first try a wedding hire shop and there are plenty of these around.

They sell off their formal wear on a pretty regular basis and quite cheaply too. I bought a waistcoat for £15 that was in excellent condition and they had loads to select from.

No - just type TT

100 what? that sounds very expensive if it's in pounds, Euro's or Dollars

These are brand new from £20 and I've bought from them in the past. Reliable and fast.

Just because someone advertize that they are a Seamstress don’t mean that they can do it. I had all kind of trouble finding someone with the balls to do my stuff. So I went to a tailor thinking that they MUST know how to do ANYTHING because they are a tailor! You know, the Mac daddy of the thread and needle!

The person TALKED me into letting him CUT out my topit so that he could use it as template. Never mind that I had the blueprint (whatever you call it) of TWO topits! Moments after cutting out my only topit, the jerk looks at me and said, “I can’t do this, I don’t want to mess up your jacket” I looked at him and said, “But, you are a TAILOR! You are supposed to know how to do it!” That didn’t win me any points.

Another person told me, “But I have to cut up your jacket” As if I didn’t know that!

I finally found an older person to do it plus a few other pockets. But the lay out of the jacket isn’t good. I am still unhappy with it.

The best place that I found after over 20 years in the Army was the good old Korea tailor shop! Man, talk about an artist with the thread and needle. LOL
