Ok, I'll bite:

I use standard Bicycle 808 (Red only) for everything (I know, not the type of answer you were looking for) but I believe that you do not want raise the possibility of the spectators thinking that there may be something wrong with the cards.

A) for Design
Black Tiger
Specifically because they are black and white and do not have red pips.
1800
Very good effect on the aging.

I use standard Bikes for just about everything now, although I do like to collect the occasional 'special deck'.

However, the standard Bikes can very in the colour of the back with my favorites being black and green.

Best deck of cards for durability and style? There can only be one answer as far as I'm concerned, and it's not one of those schmancy Ellusionist/Theory 11 decks. It's the good old Tally Ho blue circle back 8)

Nonsense. The Tally-Ho red fan back is the absolute best!

Personally, I like the feel and durability of studs. Very inexpensive, too.

 I only have one tally ho deck, but it is a goody. If I had more trick and gaff decks with the circle backs I'd probably get more regular decks. Mayhaps I should just invest in some roughing fluid and have done with it.

Your choide of deck also depends on what you want to do with it. Tally Ho and Bikes are pretty faultless as all-rounders but best avoided if you want to present something using cards, but as part of a mental act. This is an extension of the point Kolisar is making. Bikes certainly are perceived as "magician" cards in the UK which can be something of a problem. If only offline poker was as big here as online poker! I forget the magician, but he used to get booked out by bridge clubs to perform effects and would never use poker size cards for them. If there were sleights he couldn't manage with bridge size cards, then he'd not use them - it was always more valuable to him to make sure the audience was comfortable with the cards he was using.

I shall vote for the rather snobbish Dan and Dave Smoke/Mirrors deck.

New court designs, an interesting design on the back. In fact, a very subtle one way force back too. Six of your pounds a pack. Kind of sixties looking in some ways.

As for everyday cards - you are all wrong. It's the blue backed fourniers that are the best. As used by Lennart Green - so i think, all in all, that i am correct on this one. and the matching marked deck too. Eight pounds!

I always use bicycle seconds, they're not as pretty as some of the expensive special decks out there but they don't cost much and are pretty much equal to standard bicycle cards, at least for what I want them for.

Growing up about 8 miles from their factory in Leeds, every pub and Working Mens Club used to have Waddingtons cards and so when I started in magic I used Waddingtons, and still do.

I find the linen finish perfectly OK for sleight of hand and having small hands the bridge size suits me. People are always comfortable with the cards although they are getting more difficult to obtain nowadays.

The last brick I bought off Ebay cost £1.50 a pack and I'm quite happy with that.

World Poker Tour Bee backs are my favourite. Fantastic stock.

I do love the design of Smoke and Mirrors by Dan and Dave Buck though. Mainly, just because I love Si Scott's work.

How about Jerry's Nuggets?! Although they are pricey do they really feel Great, I had never had a change to feel them. However the back design of those nuggets are really bad.

I always buy one of the fancy decks that Theory 11/Dan and Dave/Ellusionist/Recycled Tricks You Can Find In A Book For A Lot Cheaper.con make, but i always go back to my trusty Bikes.

Red back. Job done.

My ID, Mirage Deck, Perfection Deck, Rising Deck, All Singing All Dancing Deck, they are all Red Backed Bikes, so if i were to then do a deck switch, i think even Mr Magoo would notice.

Plus they cheap. I understand why some like Tally Ho's, i had an affair with them not long ago, but i know which side my bread's buttered.

Well I started using Tally-Hos about a month ago and they are my favourite now for everything. And they last really long. I like regular Bicycles also. And for design, I really like the 1800 deck, and the Karnival deck by BigBlindMedia.

for pure beauty
Bicycle 1800s
Bicycle Guardians/Centurians(SP)(theory11)
Split Spades lions
Tally Ho Vipers

durabilty
Bicycle Ghosts
Bicycle Masters(any)
Bee casino decks

Side note, I bought 1800s intending to use them two months ago and After giving a quick run through the cards, I stuck them back in the box and only pull them out to show them off.
