Penn and Teller

Postby gymguy203 » Dec 28th, '08, 01:45

How can I contact Penn and Teller directly. I would like to book them for a show in San Francisco and the trouble and unreliability of going through their agents is so insufficient. Please Help

Have you tried their Website? It lists several E-mail addresses here:

You might even want to try Myspace, I think they have a site there.

Thanks for the help, but I have tried both of those. Myspace is a fan based site, and their website, Im pretty sure, goes directly to their managers. i want to go directly to them.

multiple posting... did you have trouble with your pc? (Note from Mods: Multiple posts now deleted)
You will need to go through booking agent even from the website.

good luck going throught them personally...that is why they have booking agents/managers, etc...so they can focus on what they do best and let others take care of the behind the scenes work.

Aren't you 15? And you're booking Penn and Teller? Blimey.

I can't believe you are running a business at 15, and booking huge acts like them is an eyebrow raiser  . Do you believe it will be cheaper to go direct to them?

That is an intersting note...what exactly are you booking them for? What type of budget do you have? and are you looking for a price break if you speak with them directly? I am curious as to the background/reasoning behind this request...

Anyone who works with an agent/manager isn't going to accept offers through any other channel. That's what agents are paid for, after all.

Since you are getting the information second-hand, and we are getting it third-hand, so let's not judge the agents too hastily. It could be that Penn and Teller require more money that your farther is willing to pay, perhaps they have contract demands that are unreasonable in your father's view, or perhaps they are unable to fit the requested performance date into their schedule. Anyways, without you dealing directly with the agents, I do not think that attacking them personally is warranted. For performers at their level, agents are a necessity. Please, if you want to present your view, either present more details or do not issue attacks against people you have had no direct contact with.

If you asked their agents that, then I have an idea why you didn't get a response...
