Permit me to introduce myself...

Hi All

My name is James, a Hypnotherapist and NLP trainer by profession with a few years (about 4-5) amateur only experience practicing mind magic and mentalism.

I have recently made the decision to go semi-pro with this, and so would love to connect with people who are already doing it - hence signing up to the forum!

I currently do a lot of stuff with Osterlind's centre tear and breakthrough card system, an ESP routine (using beyond ESP2 deck), Out of this World, variation on Luke Jermey's RGM, Burst Bubble and EI. I also have recently started doing Palm Reading and Graphology.

There is a bunch of other bits and bobs that I do, but the above is the core of it.

Presentation-wise I bring in a lot of hypnosis and NLP stuff (both genuinely and in pseudo-explanation) - though I am currently reworking my presentations ahead of going pro (have recently read Paul Brooks's Alchemical Tools, which is great stuff).

I don't do a lot that is too 'technical' in nature, but I can handle a deck of cards and do a few basic sleights (DL, false shuffle, pass).

Anyhows, I would love to get invited into the mentalists area, so if anyone knows how I can make that happen (or would like to invite me) that will be great!

Looking forward to chatting!

James

Welcome to TM, James. Good to have you on-board. Any relation to the other Lovecraft fella? (You probably get asked that all the time, so my apologies in advance!)
