Is it worth buying a folding coin? Are there good tricks with it?

Now that made me giggle.

Yes, there's plenty of effects with a folding coin, read Bobo's Modern Coin Magic etc. etc.

To be honest, if you're thinking about buying a folding coin, and you don't have Modern Coin Magic, then I'd buy the book first, it's an awful lot cheaper than the coin, and it's so much more useful.

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.

The problem is that I live in Bulgaria, so what even I buy I have to buy it online and wait 2-3 weeks before it gets. There is a shop here but it doesn't sell everything...

Mark, you are a great marketer, you can sell anything to anyone

Haha why thankyou.

I answered like that because I personally believe the folding coin should be part of every Magicians kit, as far as im concerned its a very important bit of kit.

Make sure you get a decent one though - im currently using the Tango Magic internal banding coins, worth every penny!

I think it ok to say there are three types of folding coin.
2 fold coins which are generaly a persons first experience with this type of gimick and are best used for bottle related tricks. 8)
1 fold coins, designed to do a more specific job of apearing to be more than one coin.
0 fold coins, thease you will encounter regularly and require a device or super strenght to fold. :D

hope this helps you decide.
there is also a futher set of coins that are related to a sea creature that breaths air.
