PK ring size

Postby TimEden » Jan 18th, '09, 00:46

About to order a PK ring...

Should I be sizing it for any particular finger?

Also...is it best to wear it on your strongest hand? Have been watching Prohibition and he wears it on his left whereas I would imagine it would be easier on your strongest hand (my right). Not that I need to worry at the point of size ordering; I haven't got a freakishly large right hand or anything!

See if I was performing proabition I would wear the ring on my left hand. Anyway where are you thinking of getting it from? I game some real problems with the people I used, they only did 3 sizes. PM me and I'll show you somewhere you can get a cheap PK ring in the size and style you want.

as with the sizes.. good luck.. I ordered 2 before finding a nice fit, haha. I tried using the old string round finger and measuring it but didn't seem to be exact enough until I actually tried the rings on.

Thanks for the link and advice. They seem very cheap but I've read messages on here about people being frustrated with cheap imitations that aren't as powerful as the PK Wizard Ring.

Any opinions anyone?

On the World Magic Shop Website there is a sizing guide. I ordered mine - my wedding band is size Z and I bought one that fits well at 23 mm. Hope that helps. http://www.wizardpkring.co.uk/g2.html

Also at £16 I don't think they are too expensive for a really genuine looking ring. Mine loks just like my wedding ring.

Go Argos!

Postby VoodooMick » Jan 18th, '09, 13:36

As for ring sizes.. I went to Argos and asked if I could size my fingers with their ring sizer.
Any jewellery shop would have a ring sizer.
Much simpler than messing about with bits of string.
Some shops would have a sizer that is like a cone shaped affair where you slip a ring on and then read off the size of the ring, but the argos I went to had basically a bunch of rings on a large key ring and you just try them all on.
Of course, if you do this in Argos, you even get a free pen and paper to record your findings on
God Bless Elizabeth Duke.

That was the site I was talking about why I didn't post it up here I don't know :-) anyway they do U.S. sizes all you need to do is find out what size you are and find a converter that changes U.K. to U.S. sizes, you can find them online :-)

Take a look at the strength on this. I don't know why you would want them any stronger?

P.S. I believe PK Wizard Ring gets their rings from this site.

I didn't have a problem with strength from that site but if you want stronger rings they have them also. Although, you sacrifice the looks to have a stronger magnet. Saying that, I'm not sure if the magnetic fiekl of the N50 wedding rings are across the diameter..
