From Digitalspy:
"The farmhouse featured in Withnail And I is going under the hammer with a guide price of offers over £145, 000.

According to PA, the remote Sleddale Hall in Cumbria is being sold by water company United Utilities and has been marketed as a "piece of film history".

The property featured in the 1987 cult comedy, which followed actors Withnail (Richard E. Grant) and Marwood (Paul McGann) on a trip from Camden Town to Uncle Monty's (Richard Griffiths) countryside cottage.

Director Bruce Robinson used the 18th century stone farmhouse mainly for exterior shots in the movie.

Savills director Paul Mooney said: "Withnail is an iconic film and there may be a few eccentrics out there who would be interested in owning a piece of film history. Sleddale Hall will certainly garner a bit more public interest than a house of this type normally would."

The sale is due to take place at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge, London, on February 16."

All we need now is some fuel and wood... and £145,000!

Anyone fancy going on holiday by mistake?

Actually for a minute there Tomo, I thought you were going to announce the deaths of Paul McGann or Richard E Grant...

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.

I am a big with-nail and I fan.

I live about 15 mins from the exact location you talk of and pass it regularly.

The Barn is a wreck, full of graffiti dedicated to WN&I.
