Enthusiastic amateur just joined your group after reading lots of great posts. Not a member of any group, club, circle etc etc as my magic is pretty much confined to family and friends, my favourite is close up stuff and always impromptu. Now I feel it would be a good time (you can teach an old dog new tricks) to widen my circle of like minded people so any help or advice on clubs or associations would be welcome, or indeed, your opinion of same. As I said my passion is for close up (rekindled by the current fad for 'street' magic I must confess) so all friendly help will be gratefully received. Looking forward to that elusive restricted area sometime soon I hope.
