For a second hand wallet... hmm...

Mark, seeing as you placed the order today and the wallet hasn't even arrived yet, why don't you just ask the dealer if you can return it for a refund? Or just keep it as a spare. Or sell it to Lenoir. Or Lawrence. Or do something else with it.

Just to help Mark with his sale here, I picked up a JOL billfold last week, and it rocks!

had a great day today - I found this wallet.........

Sorry Mark - I couldn't resist that one

Seriously though, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Are you covered on your home contents insurance for the loss? It may soften the blow a little if you are.

Now THAT is " best of British" Mark

You're not all that bad after all

I'm happy you got it back, and thank you for the positive and reassuring story about mankind. We may not be doomed as a species after all. (If you find out they replaced your cash with Monopoly money, I don't want to know OK?)

PS: What went missing, your rubber...bands???

I had mine pinched last week as well. It was a card to pocket one as well, no where near as classy as a JOL but still a decent enough wallet. Luckily I had absolutely no cash in there and only my student ID, garda card and bank card. Still a pain in the hole but nothing irreplaceable.

Glad you got your wallet back Mark - a little scare like that makes you appreciate these things all the more. And the JOL billfold is indeed a reet nice wallet.

I know this is a random question, but since people with a vague knowledge/interest in wallets might be reading this thread (tenuous, I know...!) - has anyone any experience of the Mesika wallet that they'd like to share?!
