Hi everyone

Postby Ky1eNewton » Feb 9th, '09, 19:34

Hey everyone my name's Kyle and I'm 15, I'm a semi-professional working close up magician. I've been doing magic for around 8 years now but have become more interested in other things right now due to the lack of time for cards, coins, etc practise because of all the tests that seem to be taking hold of my life right now :? I'm mainly here to offer my advice on issues people may be having or just to simply contribute to the community a bit more as I've kind of come out of the magic scene quite a bit for reasons stated above. I look forward to maybe getting to know you all a bit more and hopefully seeing you all around the forum I guess. Bye for now

Excellent! Welcome to TM, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

(By the way commiserations on living on the IoW, my all time most hated place! Apart from Slough)

Haha, it is a rather boring place-especially if you're a teenager seems it tends to be infested with old people (no offence to anyone who is considered 'old') being winter doesn't help matters either as it's supposed to be renowned for it's beaches

If you want to know what the Isle of Wight was like in the 70s...

...go there now.

I hear that on the IoW these days electricity no longer causes fear, only confusion.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

When I was in my teens, anyone over the age of twenty was "old" and anyone who was over thirty was on the verge of death. I am now 34-years-old so I dread to think what that makes me. Worm food?

hiya, welcome to TM :D

And you even think about calling me old, you'll get in kick in the shins for your trouble

Haha, I'm guessing you're rather quite respected around the forum then?

As long as your definition of 'respected' is 'terrorises everyone with threats of physical violence on a regular basis but does so with a smile' then - yes, Lommie is very well respected  !

Hey Kyle, :D

I'm also 15 and I know how you feel with all these tests. I'm looking forward to half-term... One day to go! :D

Although I've got more Chemistry, Biology and Physics tests after the holiday, as well as loads of homework. :(

See you round,
Fabian.
