Well I quit smoking back in September with no help or any of these patch thingys and Id been smoking 14 years so I felt that I didn't need to do anymore resolutions and the result is I still Don't smoke :D but I don't know if I feel healthier or worse for it  I'm gonna start at the gym in May aswell also I spent £150 on shopping yestertday and 80% of it being healthy or healthier than what I'm used to.

Well done Lommie, I weighed in at 8st 4lbs on Monday although it all went a bit downhill when I put the other leg on the scales....

As I never keep New Year resolutions, I never make any but the nicer weather is (supposedly) on the way so the treadmill machine thingy will be dragged out this evening, the Pendragons DVDs loaded and ready to watch while I walk several miles getting nowhere in the front room. I doubt I'll match your 9st target so I pose no competition really!

Thanks Fairie :D Now I think if it, it does sound like a good excuse for a new wardrobe doens't it. Although that's really not going to help my other and really not as successful New Years resolution.

That's great going Lindz, keep it up and you will feel better for it. :D

Oh you can do it if you put your mind to it Mandrake and even a little is better than none (anyone who bingos that does so at their own risk).

Didn't make a precise resolution. I just decided I need to get my life on some sort of track. I found out yesterday I've been accepted for teaching training so it's a step in the right direction. It was a big relief to find out.

My last fag was 3 weeks ago today, a late resolution if you will :D

Also I decided to try that XCM stuff everyone seems to be doing. Haven't got very far, but haven't been practising very much!

Having quit smoking in the beginning of December, I decided to not tempt fate by trying anything else.

Maybe next year.

(Unless... I might dig out one of my many language books and actually take to learning a language again)

Well done to all you peeps quitting smoking.

I was watching some guy have his oesophagus out the other day... peered into the chest, and the lungs were lightly mottled with black lines. I asked the surgeon if the guy was a heavy smoker and he said "no, that's perfectly normal for someone living in a city - I've seen even worse from non-smokers actually"

If your lungs look like that by the age of 50 without smoking... man... don't help them along their way!

Only really been doing well on one (exercise more. Assuming walking counts as exercise...). Other than that... beh. I don't expect to be able to do a couple of them, really. I see them as goals more than must-dos...
