International tracking

Postby IAIN » Feb 13th, '09, 21:56

Recently, i found a handy little site that had those Wynn playing cards on the cheap, and after the hubbub of the quality of them..i though i may as well buy some and see..they were cheap...

so i shared the link with a friend after i placed my order...and i pay nineteen dollars to get international priority mail shipping...

a week later, my friend's order came...mine didnt...a week after that (today) still no show...

so i check my "tracking number" - oh yes, a super handy set of digits to help me out...nothing...

so i query it with upsps - they say "sorry, but you can't actually track and trace with international priority mail shipping with letters and small parcels.."

say what now? you issue me..with a tracking number? knowing full well i cannot use it? what kind of cruelty is this? would you send me some suntan lotion if i was in a bad house fire? would you make me wear a brace for my teeth made out of sausages if you knew i was a vegan?

im not a vegan by the way - those people should be shot...

but i digress...

so here i am, two weeks later, waiting on dozen mixed red and blue wynns...and a big stupid tracking number that i cannot use...

That's what you get for being a Mentalist and ordering playing cards that should only be used by the awesomest uber master card sharps.

For some reason, that reminded me of that XBOX fan who queued up for a PS3, bought it, took it in front of the hundreds queuing up and smashed it on the floor.

But really, if I ever was given a pack of Jerry's Nuggets...I would open them straight away and just use them. What the hell would I do with them otherwise? Film them and put them on youtube perhaps.

i only bought them cos they were $3.50 a deck, i couldnt care less about the fanability of them..im not gonna be doing anything like that with 'em...

they're going to sit on a table and look pretty and interesting...thats their job for me...

as much as i dislike a lot of Dan and Dave tricks, not cos they look terrible, but they just seem over too quickly and dont always have an interesting premise behind them (and they dont perform for the public apparently) - i must say the smoke and mirrors decks are lovely items...

and have a very subtle one way back design...

those nuggets remind me of timmy mallet's...well...mallet...

you're only a pup aintcha lenny...you wont remember that particular oily heap of s**t - count yourself lucky...

My favourite musician has randomly teamed up with Mallet to do a series of skits for youtube! I'm not that naive Iain!
