So my day today was pretty antiproductive as I watched all four Futurama movies in an afternoon/evening and it got me to thinking
I was wondering what sort of shows people remembered watching, and enjoying, that were cancelled.

I remember watching The Fugitve (David Janseen) in the 1960's. It lasted, I think, for 2 years...
If you know the story, it's about a long chase... (Harrison Ford was in the movie remake.)
And, they cancelled the show just prior to the last darned episode!!!!! Can you believe it....

Firefly was cancelled after thirteen episodes. And it was outrageously wonderful.

A recent one, but I miss studio 60 on the sunset strip. It so deserved at least one more series

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. Just criminal that it was cancelled.

Absolutely agree with you, although Man To Man was a pretty good continuation of that whole world!
I'm going to add Crime Traveller to the list. All right, it was a bit naff, and nobody seems to remember it, but it was good fun!

Oh dear lord Crime Traveller was awful

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.

I remember it and, naff though it was, it was streets ahead of anything else being shown at that time. Chloë Annett....mmmm... The Octagonal room in CT turned up in one of the Jonathan Creek episodes as well...

Totally agreed - it was excellent and in no way deserved to be cancelled!

I did not know that room was in one of the JC's, I'll have to keep an eye out for it next time I work my way through the series!
Wasn't the flat in Crime Traveller used as Maddies' as well?

That might be the event I was thinking about

although I'm sure somebody once mentioned the Octagonal room appearing. Anywho, back to drooling over Chloë Annett....

The old 80's classic, Moonlighting (Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis) and I miss Farscape, it was fantastic.

My girlfriend is currently educating me in Firefly only upto episode 3 though and I love it. Apparently it is unfortunate that I saw Serenity first but oh well. Nathan and Alan are both awesome in everything I've seen them in although best in this.

Yup, totally agree with all the Firefly comments - it was great...
Angel was cut short before its time as well.
Enterprise was cancelled just as it was hitting its stride.
And Dungeons and Dragons, the cartoon series, was cruelly dumped before they made it back home!!
