Hello.

Only just found this forum due to my renewed interest in magic after a hiatus of several years. In my youth I was tutored by the likes of Ken Brooke, Fred Lowe and Pat Page and it took me many years of practice to master card manipulation etc. but I eventually became Sussex Magic Circle "Young Magician of the Year" in 1971 (dates me!) I then went on to perform professionally (mostly children's shows - that's where the money was!!) for several years. Bizarrely I then forsook magic to become a professional ski-instructor! But I did maintain my magical skills and continued to perform sporadically. Now in my middle-age, the siren call of the Magician's craft has drawn me back - and I'm looking forward to it!

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
