Eh...it was alright.
Nothing amazing.

We were having a discussion at work as to how you pronounce Rorschach. I pronounce it Ror-shark. I don't know if that is right or wrong, but it's how I say it. There appears to be several different possible pronunciations, but which is the correct one?

(Obviously, none of us have seen the film yet).

EDIT: It appears I am correct.

I would agree with you - pronounce the last bit as you would the last part of "Bach".

The clue to how to pronounce it is in the pirate comic sequence - he does, after all, eat "raw shark".

It's also what the New Frontiersman's editor misinterprets when he's picking up the tip-off over the phone when Rorschach is set up for murdering Moloch.

So... yeah... allowing for accents, Rorschach should probably be pronounced "Raw Shark".

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.

I always thought it was pronounced - roar-shock or roar shack.

I'm a big fan of the book so perhaps my expectations were too high but I didn't like it.
They dumbed it down a fair bit and the ending was stupid. :(
I did like how they put so many details from the book in it.

Saw it yesterday, a very enjoyable cinema going day!

I thought it was quite well cast.
Acceptable storyline adjustment.
Far FAR too much blue penis though!

Raw-shack...

there can never be enough blue phallus shots in a movie as far as I'm concerned...one of my friends that was with me at the cinema, everytime he and "it" appeared, she just giggled...

As someone totally unfamiliar with the source work I enjoyed it. I'm a big movie fan and all the development hell stuff had me intrigued as to what they were all fighting about!

It's a 4 star film certainly.

Aw no, so it was over-hyped then?

Shame!

Still look forward to seeing it though. :D

I really enjoyed it. Thought they captured it well and improved the ending (I hated the original ending)

I thought it was good. Since I'm fifteen though, our mom was there...she keeps saying she'll never feel comfortable listening to the song "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley again.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.
