Not so guilty about it, but old books. In particular ones from the turn of the century. It doesn't matter if I have a newer version of the book, or an ebook version (from Learned Pig or Lybrary), if I see a first edition Devant, Thurston, Goldston etc. I have to snap it up. There's something about having a copy of the book which is directly from that golden era of magic which just fascinates me.

I feel like I -need- to have the commonly accepted textbooks/bibles of each branch of magic, even if I don't particularly care for it. Books like Practical Mental Magic, Royal Road, Bobo.. even though I've never really performed mentalism for a real audience, and can't wrap my head around coin magic.

I guess I feel like if I ever wanted to learn the basics of any magic field, I'd already have the books!

I'm a sucker for card cases, and always spend far too much on what I'm going to wear for a performance.
I must have at least 30 suits all to fit whatever mood I'm in for a performance.

Oh and old books.... agree completely on that!

Drives my wife crazy.
