I am writing a book and need some royalty free photos which I can stick in so I don't incur any problems when published. Now here's the thing the first chapter is Cryptozoology and I want pictures to go with the descriptions and I was writing up on the Chupacabra and reliased I need a picture, obviously I can't go out and just take pics of these creatures because they may not exist, plus I don't have the time

so is there anywhere that anyone knows of that I can get pics of these. Thanks in advance.

Best guess is to have a word with Dan Baines - he'll probably have one in stock which you can photograph

And the single of Chupacabras is Chupacabras.

I use
http://www.sxc.hu/ for stock imagery, and it's always been good enough for me

You could try approaching the owner of an image and ask if you can include it if you give proper attribution.

Cheers everyone I will look into all the options suggested, Tomo how would I go about finding a genuine owner of a picture. Sorry if these are silly questions but this is a completely new venture for me.

I'd start with an email to a site with the picture you want asking if the guy is the copyright owner. If not, ask where he got it,but remember to tell him why you're asking up front!
