The Book of Oopses

Postby IAIN » Mar 25th, '09, 22:23

If you're a fan of Chan Canasta, www.martinbreese.com has just re-printed the fabled Book of Oopses...

got mine today, and beautifully printed it is too...and very striking looking as well - nice heavy, glossy paper/stock used...

oh and i notice he's also got vol 3 and 4 re-printed of the Basil Horwitz books, of whom i am very fond of too... :)

Chan did actually do a full movie, with built in psychological effects and his card stuff in it...innit... :P

£25? He must be joking. I have a copy of the original - cover price 6 shillings (30p)! How much is that worth?

I've just done a quick Google - someone says he saw an old tatty copy going for £300 - mine is in pretty good condition (as are, of course, all the books that I have bought new).

Tempting, but it'll probably make my sinus congestion worse.

The original is worth a fortune.
Only a few of these are being printed and will definately be a collectors item.
