Your DLs need to be a lot more natural looking.

I think this is the only sleight I can seriously say I hate. Even the pass is more natural than my DL's. But thanks I'll carry on trying to improve the most used yet annoying sleight.

I know what you mean. It's a pain in the ass.

I liked that overall, nice effect indeed. I agree with Lenoir that the weakest element was your DL but I also agree that it's an annoying sleight to get right, I hate mine.

Thanks, I think the DL is more about trial and error until you find the right one for you, I still haven't found the right technique for me yet

Yeah, I'm not diggin' the... I don't even know what it is... is it supposed to be a strike double, except you're riffling two with your finger? I suppose to be fair the camera was much lower than the spectators' usual eyeline, so maybe an audience would miss it. With the right presentation you could probably get away with that scot free, but not on video.

Maybe look into the pinkie count? You end up with the same preparation as the push-over get ready, but without the push-over. Both George McBride and I recommend it - but don't listen to me, listen to George McBride!

A note on presentation, too. You perform the time machine so fast! I hope that was only to save time on video, and not the speed you normally do it.

I used to use the Strike DL until I learnt the Pinky Count. Now the PC is my favourite thing to do with cards, I just love it... weird, I know :(

If I'm feeling a bit funky I'll do the Ron Bauer's TTT. It's basically the push off double but with a different turnover. I hate the one where it pivots off the base of your thumb, the one David Blaine uses.

As for the video, I think it's best to use, say, an Ace of Spades as the 'Time Machine' card instead of a random card, as people might find it confusing.

None the less, I enjoyed it :D

Well if those double lifts need a lot of work then I think I'll just leave now to hack my hands off. I thought the handling looked very natural and I'd be very suprised indeed if a lay audience picked anything up. Having said this, I'm an amateur hobbyist so what the hell do I know?

Regarding the effect itself, I actually couldn't follow it because of the speed and perhaps because there was no patter on the video - frankly it just confused me Great handling though in my opinion.

Craig.
