Nice to meet you. My name is Dave, married, and a dad to three boys. I have been into magic in a small way all of my life really starting with David Nixon, Copperfield, Blaine - apart from Mr Daniels I'm in good first name company! oh yeah, apart from Tommy Cooper, Penn and Teller etc etc.

Anyway, i have never really performed any magic before, except for a couple of minor things not very well. But i have decided that while my kids are still young enough, I'm going to do a little magic show for them. I have made a couple of tricks - magic box, and a rack for knotted/unknotted silks... and working on the music and lighting for a 15 minute show in my living room.

But it's scary stuff this magic performing.... and practised a trick today, where you pull a silk through a chair and nearly cut my thumb off!

Anyway, enough of my ego trip... nice to meet you all, and hope to chat to some of you in the near future !!
