Just heard that the scripts have been dished out. The Beeb want to put it on at Easter rather than Xmas, however.

A whole year? I've always thought of Creek as more of a Wintery programme than a Spring one...

Still, the news of a special is good, if not quite as good as the announcement of a new series would have been! Maybe if the ratings for the next one are high...

Story on BBC yesterday indicated that the new Jonathan Creek will be broadcast at Easter 2010, title is The Judas Tree. Main point of the story is that Alan Davies, like many other performers, has had to take a pay cut of 25%. I just hope they don’t cut 25% out of the plot!

According to Alan Davies, more than 50% has been cut from the design budget.

The Beeb denies this, however.

Perhaps the next JC story will be 'The Case of the Diminishing Budget'!
