If you haven't heard of it, The Hunt for Gollum is a fan made film, shot on a 3 grand budget, based on some passages from the Lord of the Rings that deal with Aragorn's attempt to track down Gollum to interrogate him about the ring.

It is excellent, the SFX are almost on par with the original films and the actors bear uncanny resemblances to the real actors!!! This will tide you over till The Hobbit!

If you like fan films, might I suggest Grayson? Unfortunately they ran out of money, so couldn't produced the actual film. They only managed this 5 minute trailer. Shame, looks like it would have been awesome!
