Malone Meets Marlo

Postby babyshanks » May 28th, '09, 19:26

Has anybody seen/got this set of DVD's? It looks incredible! Bill Malone teaching 65 of Marlo's effects, some of which have rarely even been heard of, let alone taught.

I knew there were rumours going around that there were a set of DVD's coming out on some of Marlo's material, and I always thought it was his beast of a book, Revolutionary Card Technique. Turns out it ain't!

Anybody picked up a set yet?

Being one of "the kids" that used to meet with Ed and his wife way back then with Bill, Mark Kornhouser and a myriad of others, I can rightly say that I remember when Malone Met Marloe

I'll never forget the day they taught us how to make up the sands used for the Sand of the Desert routine... I thought I'd never get that paraffin smell out of my nostrils... oi!

Picture this however... a toothpick of a physical build with an afro styled hair cut roughly 14inches in diameter, bucked teeth and pimples everywhere... that was Bill Malone... the total and complete Geek and yet, one of the most amazing manipulation artists (especially for someone in their late teens) I'd ever seen (even to date). Bill really is one of a kind.
