Thanks for that!

I'm a massive fan of the Goons!

The Last Goon Show of All was far from the best, but it's still the Goons.

Radio 7 has been playing their stuff in order every Monday night at7pm and played the last of their last original series (from Jan 1960) last week. It's really weird listening to how their voices changed over the intervening 12 years.

It's 25 minutes before there's even a mention of the plot!

I'm sorry I haven't a Clue will be returning with 3 guest chairmen: Stephen Fry, Rob Brydon and someone else I can't remember. They hope to find a permanent host in time.

And with regards to the Goons, damn I was out! I'll just have to listen to my collection of Goons CDs :P

The Last Goon Show is on again next Sunday at 2.30 in the afternoon.

I can't wait for ISIHAC to come back. I feel like a quick game of swanee kazoo.

I've got this one on tape. Quality stuff. They've been circulating them round on the bbciplayer as well.

I've got a few Goon LPs, including The Last Goon Show of All. That's from back in the days when sound came out of big black plates and a needle.

Having said that, I've gone off the Goons, at least compared to when I was a teenager. Round the Horne is much better.

Colin has hinted that my birthday present this year will be the third boxed set of I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue. Hooray! It won't be the same without Humph, though, and I doubt I'll listen to any new episodes.
