Could anyone translate this? (French)

I have a postcard for my bizarre collection. It is a picture of a strongman from a circus. The caption is handwritten but I think it reads:

La captain Ringman a trouve le truc qui a fait de lui un phenomene

Could anyone tell me what it says?

Or I think it might be...

'The Captain Ringman has found something that made him a phenomenon.'

High school french... but it sounds more like it to me!

I know that "truc" means trick so I assume that it should be translated as
"Captain Ringman has found the trick which makes him a phenomena"

That makes sense as the postcard is called 'Wait till you see my next trick'

In the pictures hes doing something that looks rather painfull ;)

A phenomenon, by the way.
Two or more phenomena.
