Look around you?

Its a spoof of the 70's style educational videos they used to show in school by Peter Serafonwitz (sp)

just found my dvd of it last night and i'd forgotten how funny it was.

:D

Certainly have. The first series is completely different to the second, which aped Tomorrow's World. I preferred the first.

They tried to make too much of it in the second series and lost a lot of what made it brilliant. might have to have a watch of this again sometime.

Apples and oranges. I loved both series for very different reasons. Though growing up on Tomorrow's World helps massively.

Maggie Philbin.

Thankfully.

Look Around You was absolutely amazing, particularly the first series! "What is water? It's a difficult question because water is impossible to describe. One might ask the same about birds. What are birds? We just don't know."

"These ants have been trained to design and build an igloo, using tiny blocks of ice. We'll come back to the ants later, but in the meantime - thanks, ants.

Thants."

I remember watching her on Tomorrow's World and having a crush on her as a teenager. I'd much rather have been able to post "Maggie who?"
