Ikea - I was dragged there the other day by my wife. They have a huge selection of cheap cutlery from a couple of quid for a pack. Worth a look.

I looked in Ikea, and found their forks to be ridiculously tough and stubborn - especially considering the price!

Wilkinsons has more malleable forks (four for 79p), but they have wide flat handles, which don't lend themselves well to twists.

Asda was recommended to me, but my local store only sells its cuttlery in sets with knives, forks and spoons. I use forks and spoons, but don't know what I'd do with all the leftover knives...

So, if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to know.

Is it worthwhile pestering David Penn again? Now that he's more hands-on with World Magic Shop, we might be able to twist his arm to make them a staple part of the shop stock...?

Add to your routine knife throwing. Old cabaret style... Well, it was an idea. A wild stab in the dark.

Not only did this remind me of my (albeit brief) experiences standing in front of the knife thrower, but I somehow flashed on the idea of Chris doing a Smash & Stab routine... possibly even with the success Brian Brushwood came to know about two months back

I can't think of knife throwing without being reminded of the movie Meet the Feebles, from the days when Peter jackson made hilariously tasteless B-movies. This one was a sex-and-death take on the Muppet Show, with a paranoid knife-throwing frog who was coked to the eyeballs.

Have you ever noticed the beautiful lighting in this toilet?

I went to WMS last month and they had 1000 forks sitting on the shelf so they should have some. Let me know If you find anywhere else though, My supply of forks is going to run out soon as well.

Going to tell you all my fav place for stuff now, the pound shop. Blindfolds, forks (not that I do bending but while I was trying it out) small pads of paper, see through white envelopes (no not the ones with the windows in :D ) all sorts of goodies. Oh and Ikia for free golf pencils. Managed to get about 100 last time I went. Call me cheap if you want to but they're great places.

I think WMS coukd make a fortune if they got the right kind of forks.

I did use ASDA then Wilkinson then Woolworth. I am now at the end of my supply and need to get some more.

Did David Penn say anything interesting in the reply.

If WMS have forks then they will be the right kind for your needs.

When woolies, who had the best forks for bending closed their doors, David sourced their supplier and ordered a huge stash. These are the only decent ones around at the moment but these will run out sooner or later and then that may be it!
