Bargain Magic

Postby GoldFish » Mar 30th, '04, 13:49

I wasn't entirely sure where to put this so that's why it's here. I don't think this classes as advertising because their not making an open profit as far as I'm aware. Anyway, as I'm sure is the same with many of you, I like to look around various sites before I consider buying an effect/book/video/etc to try and find the best price but sometimes that can take quite some time. Equally, if I'm looking for a specific thing it can take a little while to find a stockist. Then I came across a website which answers both of these problems; http://www.bargainmagic.co.uk is a search site which compares the prices on magic items found on most of the top internet suppliers. For example if I typed in Cups and Balls it would bring up a list of all the stockists of cups and balls items (including videos and books, etc) aswell as displaying alll the prices. It even goes as far as highlighting the best price and the best overall price (inc. P&P).

All the best,

Will Wood

very helpfull but a word of caution if you follow the link for butter coin you will get a saveing at e-magic for the ten pence version which i have reviewed already.
unfortunatly its compared with the magicbox version which is a half dollar version, so realy there two completely different effects.

You also need to check the individual sites for current prices. Many of results show incorrect prices so the savings may be by using a different supplier to the one indicated.

You will also have to try various spellings of tricks as sometimes it can miss out a site which does the trick but uses slightly different wording. Try typing 'On The Case' and the results refer to card cases or leather wallets - both JBTV and MagicBox do Steven Gore's effect called 'On The Case' but these aren't mentioned.
