Yes, I'm not entirely convinced...

When Clarkson said "lets talk about Formula 1 because thats why you are here" kind of proved that it was a hoax to me

What about at the end when they Clarkson said "I don't think Michael Schumacher is the Stig" and then winked at the camera?!

I am the Stig. Now you know.

I find it inconcievable, that the bbc could afford to insure him .

Its just a gag to get publicity for the new series.

I'm, pretty sure The Stig is any of a number of test drivers.

I agree with Tomo - the Stig seems to be an expert in all fields of driving. Surely there is a world apart between F1, BTCC and HGV's for him to be the best of the best at all of them?

There's no way it's only one person and it's definitely not Michael Schumacher. There was one week where he was shoulder-to-shoulder with Clarkson and the next he could have been Ronnie Corbett.

but on the other hand

Michael schumacher so famous that he can not get anymore famous is told to keep being the stig secret what would he gain from revealing it...nothing.


Michael schumacher was the best of the best so I do not see why there should be any argument ot him being the stig although the credits still read.....

Didn't they kill off the first stig (he wore a black costume) because he publicly revealed himself? He drove off the side of a boat "accidently" I believe!
