Right I need some more information about bone conductors for something I'm working on. Anyone own one or used one or know anything about them let me know through PM. I know what they are and what they do of course it's more what they can be and have been used for and some technical info. Thanks in advance everyone.

Yes craig I know Pete is selling his but I don't want to buy one just yet and I just can't afford that sort of money.
I want to know ABOUT them, anyone that has used them. Anyone know about the bone conducting headphones you can buy are they any good? Craig who did the Seance chair?

The Chairs were made by a gent best known on the forums as Samhain and memory serving me right, originally sold for about as much as the Flying Illusion. I think he only makes two of them a year (at the most) in that they are to be kept very limited.

The least expensive source for you would be to look into the Snow Ski industry believe it or not. They have a series of winter hats (for lack of a better term) that have the bone conduction speakers built into them so skiers can listen to music while doing their thing on the slopes. Even at that, you're talking several hundred dollars.

The technology itself came out of the Hearing Aid industry, which is one of the primary reasons for the cost... hearing aids have to be one of the most expensive medical devices going.

eMail or PM me with what you want to accomplish and maybe I can point you in the right direction.
