A new act

Postby Mark Waddington » Mar 31st, '04, 17:33

Hey guys!

Im trying to devise a new act based entirely on fast food, i already have a 4 foot appearing straw, a six straw repeat but i want to know what ideas you have to add more.
I was thinking along the lines of a vanishing tomato ketchup bottle but need more ideas

I welcome any help and advice!

How about re-sealing coke can?

Or, Card to BigMac - a bit like card to lemon, but without the lemon...

Or, if you could make your own change bag out of a couple of mac donalds brown paper bags, that would open up a few effects.

Or, with a dove/chick pan, all sorts of food related magic....

Chip up nose? Chip through back note? Chip Thru coin?

How about the colour monte but use Chips instead of pounds....(Chips, not gambling chips, you know...oh please yourselves)

Mystic Chips?

The old classic - Coke Bottle thru table. Wrap bottle in napkin making sure it retains the shape, then 'smack it through the table' and bring out bottle unharmed. Table is also unharmed. Not sure about Magcian's hand though - it can hurt a bit if you go too mad  .

How about: Straw from the nose (macdonalds works best) or fork in the eye from the book "Tricks wth your head: Mac King"

TT with salt.

I'm also very good at making any fast food disappear and reappear as fat :)

Anything using noodles instead of rope/string eg cut and re-strawed become cut and re-noodled!!

good luck if you have a double load dove pan you could do epan not cooked long enough so you have flour, mince and a saschay of ketup (not cat sup)

Hope this helps

Talking of noodles, how about "Cup Oodles".

Effectively you disappear a ring/signed coin, mobile phone etc, and it appears in a sealed container - for example a can of pringles or a pot noodle.

It's a very versatile and clever idea and can be used for many things. But certainly the pot noodle idea fits in with your theme.
