It's too hot! When will it ever be frosty again? I swear that next time it snows I'm going to roll naked in it's chilly goodness! Damn this weather.

I can't stand this heat, either. I go out of my way to avoid the sun and search for shade wherever I go. I will sit inside when everyone else is out in the garden. If it wasn't for the fact that I love garlic and can see my devastatingly handsome reflection in the mirror, I would think I'm a vampire. Roll on the winter. Or even autumn would suit me.

My wife thinks I'm weird because I complain about the lovely weather. I just don't like being very hot and sweaty. And I get hayfever. In the winter, I can put more clothes on and turn the heating up if I'm cold. But in this heat I can't very well walk around in the nude, can I? Well, I can, but I don't wish to give everyone a free show. One must part with hard cash for such privileges.

I don't do well in hot weather. I'm English by birth, deed and inclination, and I prefer weather that requires a jumper. This humidity is playing merry hell with my asthma.

I don't know if I want to stay here indoors and melt from the hot weather, even in the shade, or to head into town and find some inspiration in a pound shop, and then spend the rest of the afternoon in the local gaming center, where they have air conditioning...

...Aircon is sounding like a good choice right now.

Summer sucks. I've had bad hay fever since childhood and associate this weather with feeling c*** (not the best). Plus, why anyone would say they enjoy feeling hot and sweaty while stuck at work and not getting enough sleep is something I have never understood.

Not to mention the fact that seeing Replicant walking round with his nudger hanging out really does NOT appeal to me. Too scary to contemplate.

Yes, roll on wonderful Autumn. What a happy bunch we are! :D

Don't skirt around the issue, my friend. Say what's on your mind; don't beat around the...er, bush.

I bet the Lomster will be along shortly with her usual "stop being miserable old gits".

oh come on you lot, this weather is lovely! What's better than an afternoon of sunbathing or sitting out in the garden in the evening with a glass of Pimms?

Sitting by a roaring log fire on a chilly winter's eve with a glass of red wine and Nightmare Before Christmas or Corpse Bride on the TV!

The best thing about this weather is that we've had quite an influx of Indians working on the new high tech business park over the past couple of years, so there are a huge number of colourful saris on display about the town. This really upsets the local racists, which is nice.

Hello

To be fair, I feel that both of you are correct, in as much as I love the hot weather and sipping an ice cold lager I also love the idea of a deep earth chocolate red wine, probably a merlot of some sort whilst sitting in an arm chair with a roaring fire and the pleasant scent of woody pipe smoke wafting through the room. So why not enjoy both turns of weather, but when they are due.

Much love and energy

tda
