Pendragon's Domestic 'incident'

Postby Harry Guinness » Jul 9th, '09, 00:46

iTricks says this:

According to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department, 55-year-old Claude Yarbrough, whose stage name is Jonathan Pendragon, got into an argument with his wife Wednesday morning, during which Pendragon pulled out a gun and fired one bullet into the floor. Yarbrough’s wife then called the sheriff’s department, and sheriff’s deputies came to the house and arrested him.

Yarbrough was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, spousal abuse, terrorist threats and firing a weapon in an inhabited dwelling.

Intriguing anyway. And a reason to never work with your spouse!!!

Holy c*** (not the best)!

My gf wears a shirt that says, "Currently hypnotized ignore the clucking." when I'm wearing my Master Hypnotist shirt.

That's as close as we come :)

Since the accident with the arrow John hasn't been the same and the fact that he is no longer a big star in magic has taken its toll out on his mind.

It's a sad story but it could also be seen as Kismet.

I guess they won't be at the Daytona Festival of Magic this year... I was looking forward to seein the metamorphosis change live.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

There is a lot more to this story than meets the eye.

not making excuses, you have to remember a few things.
Jonathon started out as a stunt man.
He's always looked after his body.
because of the accident, hes not been able to be any where near as active, and as a result, he has had no way of releasing all that pent up energy.

the fact that he shot the floor, and not Charlote, does sugest that this was along the lines of thumping the desk, rather than the person thats frustrating you.
and im talking from experience here.

Ive had anger management issues in the past..

( mainly bought on by you guys, when you dont effin listen!!!! )

and it's largly down to a lack of an adrenaline rush.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

As with the Dan Harlan incident a while back, it's sad to hear of performers held in such high esteem tumbling to this level.

If a person pulls out a weapon no matter if they didn't shoot the other person, it is still a CRIME! Charlotte would have been legally authorized to defend herself in ANY way she could! The KEY phase here is, “I feared for my life”.

WOW, this is at least two felonies! One for discharging the weapon and the other for a flying projectile within a dwelling! Can you say 3 to 5?

Sounds as if he must have been Baker acted to protect Charlotte. He is walking around with other nutty unbalance people..how cool it that?

I have no respect for idiots like this. He shot the floor this time, which is to say that next week it may have been her.

In the UK it is but this isn't true in a lot of places around the world. In your own property you can carry and draw a handgun if you wish and can legally use it to defend yourself, family an property.

OJ Simpson was a classic example of how the law does and doesn't work in the USA.
