Yeah, well if anyone else wants some ill try and get a load shiped over, though im not sure if they can gurantee if i get green or black without the price being stupidly high. They said they may have to open 150 decks to find 50 blacks. (Green and black come in the same packageing) also just found out that these are more durable than the ordinary bicycles.Interesting. Im still exchanging emails, but ill keep u updated.

Just found some info about them. The red used on the hearts/diamonds and face cards is interesting.

Card Name: Bicycle Tactical Field
Manufacturer: United States Playing Card Company
Size: Standard Poker Size
Availability: Available at military exchanges.
Miscellaneous: These decks began appearing on military bases just around a year or so ago. The decks are called "Tactical Field" playing cards and come in an olive drab box. The backs are of course the classic Bicycle Rider backs, but in a dark green and a black. The faces are the same as modern Bicycle Rider backs except for the blood-red ink used on all the hearts, diamonds, and face cards. This ink seems to be the same shade of red used on most casino decks. For the military, it was used so that the red cards can be seen with a red lensed flashlight.

oooo just had a thought, ?because the red used on the "tactical" deck are a darker red it would be hard to make it appear that the back of a card has changed colour I.e the ace of queen goes from red back to black back. but I guess it can still be done with the blacks.
just a thought.

same here :)
that's a cool price.

If you want to make a bit I can understand that for the effort without a problem, but if the question is "is a fiver too high?" then no, that's understandable under the conditions :)

Personaly I'd give you 20 quid for a black pack with a pack of black blank face cards :)
But that's just me, would fit with a great little trick I got as a pressie (you know who you are you star :) )

I've got him down to £4.85 a deck not much difference. Im not to bothered about making anything just as long as my cost are covered. So ill go ahead and get some if enough people want them for. So is £5 and deck +P&P ok. The postage shouldnt be too much anyway.
Er, Tom, how will i get these down under to you?
And another important point. He will be sending me 20 decks unopened but he wont know if ther half green half black or all green./black. Is anyone too bothered about this, the greens pretty dark, chick here for a comparison..
