Here are three videos of my show from the fourth of July. It was a learning experience that the Rainbow Matrix needs to be spiced up in some way, Charade needs to be sped up and many other things like always keep 10 pens on the stage.

Now I am at the mercy of your comments and criticism. :!:

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Right, I've finally had time to sit down and watch these.

First things first. Well done. It takes a lot of courage to do a set like that, even more courage to carry on when the condition were almost entirely stacked against you, and a whole lotta balls to post it up for people to criticise.

I made proper notes about the whole show, but I wasn't sure how much feedback you wanted, so I'll stick to what was most apparent, and what I know best - a bit of stagecraft.

1. STAND STILL. You shuffle your feet a lot, and on stage, it looks awful. Don't do it. Actively remind yourself not to when you're on stage.

2. STAND UP STRAIGHT. Again, it helps you look and feel confident, and makes you more commanding on stage.

3. WHEN YOU MOVE, DO IT FOR A REASON. Much the like the "Don't shuffle" point, don't wander around on stage aimlessly. If you need to move, move confidently. If you don't, don't move at all.

4. SPEAK UP. Ok, a lot of things were exploding, but still at times it wasn't clear what you were saying, and I'm not sure the audience could see all that floating white text...

I really think that stuff would improve your performance no end. Give us a shout if you want my opinions on the effects as well, I don't want to overload you with criticism, especially as you did a very good job.

Oh, one thing though. That finale was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Dude, there were kids running around, and you lit a bin full of explosives, then stuck your hand in. I mean come on, someone could've been seriously hurt, and it wasn't just yourself you were putting at risk. Not. Cool.

Please unload your criticism, I'm really looking to improve my performances as I don't think they're as good as they could be, but they are much better than they were even a year ago.

I'll work on the above suggestions as I believe they are a problem as well. Now, that you point it out, I do move around... a lot.

The finale, in testing and practices worked well and was placed at a safe spot, I did not anticipate the kids running around as much as they did in practice but during the show I paid close attention that no one came over, it was not as stupid as it looks on the camera but...I will be more careful with the use of pyrotechnics in my future performances.

All your criticisms are duly noted and I'd love to hear more criticisms. (maybe) :P
