Kurotsuke killed the Cat

Postby MagicBill » Aug 26th, '09, 16:28

Hi all,

I have Oddball but I was wondering what the difference between that is and Kurotsuke? I've been looking at Equinox/Eclipse but wouldn't want to splash out loadsa money if Kurotsuke is a good bet.

Can't seem to find it stocked anywhere either, or is it a method as opposed to a prop?

Thanks.

Its a method, rather than an effect. Max has it published. Im sure Ian might be able to enlighten you.

i think its vol2 of videomind by max maven...

oddball was good i thought, despite the cheapo props - the method was clever...

it all depends on how you view "clean" too - and the whole hands off thing, you can go completely hands off and electronic...or you can *gasp!* hold a bag...

there's all kinds of rip offs, versions, and inbetweeners...depends on your pockets and style...there's even an inverted version of of the maven thing, done by aldo colombini where you predict what coloured ball out of 5 or 6 that'll be left in the bag...

I bought Odball then made better props from the idea. I have actually only used it once!
