A little retro, but Harry Blackstone Jnr's floating lightbulb has always been, for me, a thing of great beauty.

That said, perhaps I'm happier not knowing the secret...

Pretty much everything by Derren Brown :)

I don't know a single thing about mentalism, except that centre tear thing, but that's it, so I'm always gobsmacked when watching Mr Brown.

The Berglas Effect would be great to know. It's published in his book Mind and Magic, but I don't have that sort of money!

Also, the original Scarne's Aces. I have an idea, but would love to know how it really was done.

From what I've heard/read is that the Bergals effect isn't really explained in the book, just that he sort of/kind of says how it MIGHT be possible.

Really? I enjoyed it, but it's not magic to me.
