Evenin all ...

Postby timepic » Sep 12th, '09, 18:09

Hi everyone, my name is Tim. I've been lurking around the site for a while and finally thought I would give talking a go ... well you all seem a nice enough bunch!

Errr... a little bit about me, I'm 29 Married and have a little 4week old boy. I live in west London, in leafy Chiswick, and work as a youth worker in a Church here.

Ever since I remember, my Grandad confuzzled me with Magic, simple card tricks and such, and I loved it ... I especially loved trying (and mostly failing) to work out just how he did it!

I would describe myself as a amateur hobbyist, I have a couple of tricks that I know well, and love performing them to the young people I work with and my ever suffering wife. (Is there a colloquial term for a magicians wife?)

I have recently been a recipitant of a case full of props and havn't put them down since, this includes a chop cup, mirror glass loads of silks and other things ... this has spurred me on to putting some real time into my magic.

Anyhoo... I've been babbling on for a while now so I'll shut up and if you want to know more just ask!

Bye for now

Tim

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

thanks for the nice welcome.

I almost sliced my thumb off today, preparing dinner, and now have 4 stitches in my thumb, so I can't practice my new chop cup routine, boo hoo!

Anyway, I'll speak soon.
