100 people isnt that big an audience, and if it was a caberet setting, and your standing in the middle of them, they could be quite close.
and, even if you are on stage, its fine to use standard sized playing cards. the rule is, place distance between you and your on stage helpers.
Also, most important, make sure that you dont spread anything on a table. because then your audience wont see.Hold the deck up, and in your hands.

This is also very good, if your working with a mike stand, because you can work around it.
