In these enlightened times when it's not so easy to bring out a zippo and torch a spectator's prized posessions, does anyone have any thoughts on the process of total destruction of property?

Let's say you borrow a banknote, credit card or somesuch and want it totally obliterated. Damaged beyond repair. Donald Ducked.

That's not a vanish. If something vanishes, the spec knows that it will reappear. If it's mashed, thrashed and obliterated, you can let the doubt hang for a few delicious moments.

Fire used to make it all so easy.

What do we have now. Do pocket shredders exist?

Nitric Acid gets my vote !

Pocket shredders not only exist but cost £5 or less. I have and use one for an alternative to burning when using the much maligned centre tear. You can find them in any standard stationer.

Liquid Nitrogen?

You dip the bank note in, tap it with a pretty glass rod and voila!

If you want smoke with that, drop it into hot water

Ruffle up your hair and foam at the mouth and run around like a lunatic tearing, stomping, chewing, throwing it up lol
