I personally love Ring Flight, good plot, fantastic reaction and can be made to play big or small, its a win win situation, its also one of those effects that transcends the language barrier which can be so important.

Surprised I haven't seen it already, but Anniversary Waltz for me. It's booked me dozens of weddings over the years.

Make sure you do it while the bridesmaids are watching. Instant bookings for their own weddings.

Red hot mamma. I have the spec shuffle the pack I then riffle through slowly allowing them to call stop at any card they want (free choice). I then have the card shuffled back into the pack and spread through showing the only red card in the blue pack is the card they selected. I get rid of the card offering to do it again, they select a card and shuffle it into the pack. I look through and there is no red card. I swear and ask for the red card back (it's been lying on the table or in the spec's pocket) they pick it up and it's turned into the card they just selected.

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

That sounds a bit like ' The Greatest Card Trick In The World '. Though that may not be its proper title, its the one that was told to me. Same kinda deal, utilising the hindu shuffle.

No matter how many new toys I buy or techniques I try to learn, Eddie Fetcher's "Be honest, what is it?" (or the two card monte - performed by Mr Blaine and exposed by the masked one) always gets a great reaction for me. It's almost gotten me beaten up :).

Yeah I saw that video and spent a week working it out. When I showed it at a T.M meet I was told it was called 'red hot mamma'. I then worked on it so the pack could be shuffled and the cards looked at when selected. So maybe I should call it 'the greater card trick in the world'?

For those of you that don't know the effect - spec freely chooses a card from a shuffled deck. You have them replace the card and ask them to pretend for the duration that the card they chose is their favourite card.

You say you also have a favourite card. Of course, it's the same as the spec's as you proceed to show it apparently 'everywhere' throughout the deck, tabling each card in the process.

For the finale the tabled cards are turned over to reveal a run of clubs (or whatever) from ace to king!

Incidentally, here's a clip of my performing this very trick to former boxing champ Jim Watt:

Just watched that. Excellent work, Billy. Top of the shop.
