I didn't actually know people used the fact their degree was an Honours Degree. I mean surely they all are unless you failed a module or something? and do people care?

What point are you trying to make?

Interesting first post.

Any mod care to check the IP of this poster?

It sure would be an HONOUR to know who it was...

I'm sure people dont care on here but it's of interest to employers as its a more challenging course than a typical degree and lasts a year longer. A masters degree is at a higher level still.

Nonsense, unless you are Scottish.

jeenious wrote:I could be wrong but I believe that very few universities in England do them which is why you may have made that assumption.

You are completely wrong. Oddly enough.

It's sweet you thought it made you important in some way though.

Hi Damien, My name is Woody. I am a magician from Scotland. I am not jeenious and any moderator is free to confirm my IP address is different from jeenious’. However, that doesn’t really prove I’m someone different only that I’m located in a different place. You’ll just have to trust me on this one.

Yes, Mr Jennings, I am Scottish and did my course in Scotland which to the best of my knowledge would make what I said earlier true. At no point did I suggest that having my qualification make me more or less important than anyone else.

I find it difficult to believe that your focus of anger is based on me having a few extracts from wikipedia on my website when I have clearly stated earlier that I am in the process of re-writing all the content. I think the reasonable thing to do would be to resist the temptation to take a pop at me and move on.

As for Woody, if he chooses to comment on this topic, that is his affair.

Ok.

Jeenious, technically your post was in breach of forum rules since it was advertising a product or service, however, since that service could potentially benefit members here, it wasn't immediately deleted.

Damian, your response, however strongly you felt, was in breach of the guidelines regarding politeness. The following exchange certainly appeared to me to be petty bickering and picking holes in each other's webpages, grammar, education and morals whilst casting aspersions on on the veracity of each other's past.

Therefore I am locking the thread now but leaving it on view in case anyone thinks that this is a good opportunity.
