I was having yet another look through the 13 Steps and thought I'd try something based around Sujan Location (on P43).

Thing is, I'm having a hard time finding the necessary stuff to make up the paste.

It's easy enough to find a spray version, but that's not working for me, and although my dad reckons you can get the powdered stuff, I can't find any anywhere.

If any of you do this effect can any of you assure me that this stuff is still available, and where you might get it from, or suggest an alternative?

I searched the web using Google and the words 'powdered starch' and instantly found this, which offers 250grams of Traditional Laundry Starch for £4.75 (Free UK Delivery). I imagine that would do the job.

I was hoping to find a shop where I can just walk in and buy some, but it's looking like I'll have to order online.

Boil some rice.

Remove rice.

Keep water.
