You can't indeed.
Ordered.
Even if it's all tosh I'm not complaining at that value!
4 DVDs for a tenner (inc p&p)!

Just to give a nod to BBM here.
Emails went out apologising for an oversale on one DVD and offering alternatives at the same price. This crept it's way into my junk folder (so I didn't see it) and i've had a text from BBM today to chase up finalising my order.
Above and beyond on customer services there!

Thanks Mandrake.

And so begins the battle between my urge to be thrifty and my urge to own books...

Rymans are currently doing SHARPIES half price! I just got 3 packs of 5 at £2.74 per pack...

Apparantly they're half price for about three weeks...

May be of interest... The Book Warehouse www.thebookwarehouse.co.uk currently has Runic Palmistry by Jon Saint-Germain. I picked it up a couple of weeks ago, I think it was £4.99....

The ever-wonderful Bibliophile Books has Maskelyne's Book of Magic (modern Dover reprint of 1936 edition) for a fiver. I've just finished reading my copy!

Also the biographical Sorcerer's Apprentice by Tahir Shah for £4. The son of a Sufi scholar goes to Calcutta to learn magic.

Probably too elementary for forum members, but maybe a useful present: Beginner's Guide: Magic (Robert Ralley) also for a fiver.

This one might be a bit "off the wall" but there's a magazine available at the moment that's a spin-off from the CBeebies show "AlphaBlocks".

Anyway, the current issue has a set of quite nice oversize alphabet cards free on the cover - each one featuring a nice colourful picture of one of the AlphaBlocks in all their lettery, blocky glory.

They're not exactly air-cushion finish, but for anyone who does kids parties, they might have uses.

Just a thought anyway. The magazine is only a couple of quid.
